The Liber Garden was born when our homeschooling journey took us from book club meetings to the children writing scripts, producing skits and performing plays from the books they were studying. Stories like Little Britches, The Hobbit, Jungle Book, National Velvet, The Birchbark House and Chickadee, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and plays like Shakespeare's Twelfth Night and As You Like It and many others were acted out first for friends and family and then collaborating with an area community theater for full productions. Nurturing the love for great books and the stage has brought about a new chapter, The Liber Garden Theatre Company!
