Cast for Much Ado About Nothing
- DON PEDRO, Prince of Arragon. No idea where that is at. But, he's charming, smart and powerful, and yet the guy still can't get a date.
- DON JOHN, his bastard Brother. All he wants to do is ruin everyone's day
- CLAUDIO, a young Lord of Florence. Also a little bit charming, quick to fall in love, and out of love, and in again.
- BENEDICK, a young Lord. He's also quite charming. (We like to be charmed.) He was a bit wild in his youth, and has sworn to absolutely never ever get married, and definitely not to a certain lady he certainly definitely does not love.
- LEONATO/A, Governor of Messina. Very caught up in appearances.
- ANTONIO/A, his/her older sibling, seems to have a purpose in this story, we're not sure what it is.
- BALTHASAR, Servant to Don Pedro. Has lots of free time.
- BORACHIO, follower of Don John. Likes to role play. We think he's got a secret crush.
- CONRADE, follower of Don John. Yeah… he/she also has a… well… not so secret crush, er…uh.. a-hem.
- DOGBERRY, a Constable. Not stable is probably more accurate.
- VERGES, a Headborough. The brains of the two.
- THE WATCH: including HUGH OATCAKE, GEORGE SEACOAL.
- FRIAR FRANCIS. Typical pivotal role to play. What is it with Shakespeare and friars?
- SEXTON. Probably the most level headed of them all, plays a pivotal role.
- BOY. Or a girl. The point is, they have lines.
- HERO, Daughter to Leonato. She's sweet, innocent, and quick to faint.
- BEATRICE, Niece to Leonato. She's pretty, witty, swears she shall never marry, but we all know who she picks on the most and what that means.
- MARGARET, Waiting gentlewoman attending on Hero. She's also got lots of free time.
- URSULA, Waiting gentlewoman attending on Hero. Not an evil sea-witch. That's a different story.
- MESSENGERS AND ATTENDANTS, All the important people to look good and give the others purpose for their lines.
